In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored a decisive 61-11 triumph over the Tallwood Lions.

In their next game, the Grizzlies meet the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern match, on Tuesday, January 30. Grassfield will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 8-7 record after their 50-43 league win over Indian River (Chesapeake, VA).
