Connecticut High School Basketball - Wilby topped by Kaynor Tech
January 29, 2024: Waterbury, CT 06704 The Kaynor Tech Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Wilby Wildcats to 44 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wolcott RVT for a Connecticut Technical contest on Wednesday, January 31. Kaynor Tech will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 79-34 league loss to Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-12.
The Wildcats (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Oxford (Oxford, CT). The Wolverines come into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Oxford prevailed over Torrington (Torrington, CT), 40-39, in a league contest.
