Illinois High School Basketball - Phillips overwhelms North Lawndale
January 29, 2024: Chicago, IL 60653 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Phillips Wildcats (Chicago, IL) and the visiting North Lawndale Phoenix (Chicago, IL), saw Phillips's basketball squad wallop North Lawndale by a tally of 57-10.
With the victory, Phillips improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Orr (Chicago, IL) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 9-13. Orr won 62-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Curie (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Phoenix confront the UIC College Prep Firecats (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. North Lawndale will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Firecats come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 27-17 non-league win over Muchin College Prep (Chicago, IL).
