Maryland High School Basketball - South River overwhelms Northeast
January 29, 2024: Edgewater, MD 21037 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the South River Seahawks (Edgewater, MD) and the visiting Northeast Eagles (Pasadena, MD), saw South River's basketball squad wallop Northeast by a tally of 75-14.
With the victory, South River improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Arundel (Gambrills, MD) to confront the Wildcats in a Anne Arundel County challenge on Friday, February 2. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-12. Arundel won 41-34 in their recent league challenge against Old Mill (Millersville, MD)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Broadneck Bruins (Annapolis, MD) in a Anne Arundel County challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Northeast will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 46-30 non-league win over Bryn Mawr (Baltimore, MD).
