Maryland High School Basketball - Wise crushes DuVal
January 29, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD), 53-11 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wise upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Pumas travel to Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD) to play the Raiders in a bout on Thursday, February 8. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-1.
Next up, the Tigers play the Parkdale Panthers (Riverdale, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. DuVal will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 51-14 league loss to Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD).
