North Carolina High School Basketball - Jackson Day tops Gray Stone Day
January 29, 2024: Misenheimer, NC 28109 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) and the host Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC), saw Jackson Day's basketball squad knock off Gray Stone Day by a count of 44-36.
With the victory, Jackson Day upgrades its record to 10-11 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Carolina International (Concord, NC) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Carolina International won 41-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC)
Next up, the Knights play the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Gray Stone Day will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 34-32 non-league loss to Union Academy (Monroe, NC).
