January 29, 2024: Apache Junction, AZ 85120 The Apache Junction Prospectors soccer team (Apache Junction, AZ), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Monday's league outing with the visiting Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ)
With the win, Cortez advances its record to 1-11 on the campaign. The Colts host Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Dons in a 4A Black Canyon outing on Wednesday, January 31. The Dons go into the outing with a record of 6-5. Coronado lost 1-0 in their recent league outing against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ)
In their next game, the Prospectors play the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) in a 4A Black Canyon outing, on Friday, February 2. Apache Junction will attempt to advance on its 0-14 season record. The Buffaloes go into the outing with a 6-6 record after their 8-0 league win over Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
