Connecticut High School Basketball - Bassick overwhelms Law
January 29, 2025: Milford, CT 06460 The Bassick Lions basketball team scored 88 points and limited the host Law Lawmen to 51 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Lions now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to New Milford for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Bassick will play a Green Wave team coming off a 79-28 league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Green Wave record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Law falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Lawmen host Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT) to play the Governors in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Governors go into the game with a record of 7-5. Wilbur Cross won 104-66 in their recent non-league game against Branford (Branford, CT)
