Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Panther Valley knocks off Lehigh Valley Academy

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Panther Valley Panthers basketball team scored a good 64-51 win over the Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars.

The Panthers (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Blue Raiders come into the Schuylkill County 1 contest with a 6-14 record. In their last contest, Tamaqua was topped by Mahanoy Area (Mahanoy City, PA), 55-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Bristol Warriors (Bristol, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Lehigh Valley Academy will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 12-6 record after their 46-44 league win over Church Farm (Paoli, PA).
