January 29, 2025: Vestaburg, MI 48891 The Marion Eagles basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Vestaburg Wolverines to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pentwater for a West Michigan D game on Friday, January 31. Marion will confront a Falcons team coming off a 65-63 league win over Baldwin (Baldwin, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Vestaburg falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Ashley (Ashley, MI) to confront the Bears in a Mid-State game on Friday, January 31. The Bears go into the game with a record of 1-14. Ashley lost 71-23 in their recent non-league game against Webberville (Webberville, MI)
