Ohio High School Basketball - Southern knocks off Wahama
January 29, 2025: Racine, OH 45771 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Southern Tornadoes basketball team scored a good 73-65 win over the Wahama White Falcons.
The Tornadoes (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trimble (Glouster, OH). The Tomcats come into the Tri-Valley II contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Trimble dropped by Wellston (Wellston, OH), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the White Falcons battle the Hannan Wildcats (Ashton, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 31. Wahama will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 80-48 non-league loss to Wood County Christian (Williamstown, WV).
