Ohio High School Basketball - Cedarville triumphant over Shawnee
January 29, 2025: Springfield, OH 45502 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) and the host Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), observed Cedarville's basketball team overwhelm Shawnee by a score of 65-40.
The Indians (10-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeastern Local (South Charleston, OH). The Trojans come into the Ohio Heritage challenge with a 17-3 record. In their last challenge, Southeastern Local trounced Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH), 44-36, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Braves encounter the Benjamin Logan Raiders (Bellefontaine, OH) in a Central Buckeye Conference - Mad River challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Shawnee will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 49-29 non-league win over Triad (North Lewisburg, OH).
