The River Ridge Royal Knights basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders to 41 in the Royal Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Royal Knights now possess a 18-7 record.

With the loss, Clearwater Central Catholic falls to 19-5 on the campaign. The Marauders host Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL) to confront the Mustangs in a 2A District 10 game on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 10-3. Northside Christian won 52-16 in their recent league game against Shorecrest Prep (St. Petersburg, FL)
