Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette County holds off East Buchanan
January 29, 2025: Higginsville, MO 64037 The Lafayette County Huskers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting East Buchanan Bulldogs to 34 in the Huskers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Huskers now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Gallatin for a non-league game on Friday, January 31. Lafayette County will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-43 non-league win over Penney (Hamilton, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, East Buchanan falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO) to confront the Fighting Irish in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Fighting Irish go into the game with a record of 12-5.
