North Carolina High School Basketball - East Davidson overwhelms Leadership Academy

January 29, 2025: Kernersville, NC 27284

The East Davidson Golden Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Leadership Academy Falcons to 26 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles now possess a 5-13 record. They play next when they host North Rowan for a 1A/2A Central Carolina game on Friday, January 31. East Davidson will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 51-34 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Leadership Academy falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Falcons host Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC) to confront the Wolves in a 1A Northwest Piedmont game on Friday, January 31. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 12-12. Bethany Community lost 46-27 in their recent league game against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC)
