Wisconsin High School Basketball - Edgewood thwarts Xavier
January 29, 2025: Madison, WI 53711 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Edgewood Crusaders (Madison, WI) and the visiting Xavier Hawks (Appleton, WI), observed Edgewood's basketball team knock off Xavier by a score of 53-42.
The Crusaders (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Vikings come into the Badger - Small challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Mount Horeb was knocked off by Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI), 55-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks encounter the West De Pere Phantoms (De Pere, WI) in a Bay challenge, on Friday, January 31. Xavier will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Phantoms come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 67-51 league win over Shawano Community (Shawano, WI).
