Ohio High School Basketball - Steele thwarts Fairview
January 29, 2025: Fairview Park, OH 44126 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) and the host Fairview Warriors (Fairview Park, OH), observed Steele's basketball team knock off Fairview by a score of 39-29.
The Comets (4-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH). The Shoremen come into the Southwestern challenge with a 14-3 record. In their last challenge, Avon Lake prevailed over North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH), 52-28, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the North Olmsted Eagles (North Olmsted, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Fairview will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record.
