January 29, 2025: St. Helen, MI 48656 The Northern Michigan Christian Comets basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Heston Academy Patriots to 27 in the Comets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Comets now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a non-league game on Monday, February 17.
With the loss, Heston Academy falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 3-9. Whittemore-Prescott lost 44-30 in their recent league game against Alcona (Lincoln, MI)
