Illinois High School Basketball - Hoffman Estates succumbs to Leyden
January 29, 2025: Franklin Park, IL 60131 The Leyden Eagles defeated the visiting Hoffman Estates Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 48-36 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Eagles (19-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Hornets go into the West Suburban - Gold contest with a 11-14 record. In their last contest, Hinsdale South was topped by Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL), 65-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - West contest, on Thursday, January 30. Hoffman Estates will attempt to better on its 3-20 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 12-11 record after their 68-41 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
