January 29, 2025: Sycamore, IL 60178 Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting DeKalb Barbs (DeKalb, IL), 33-20 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sycamore advances its record to 12-10 on the year. The Spartans travel to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 2-0.
The Barbs now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Naperville Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 4. DeKalb will face a Redhawks squad coming off a 49-34 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 0-2.
