January 29, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85051 Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), 4-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, Cortez moves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Tempe (Tempe, AZ) to clash with the Buffaloes in a 2A Independent test on Monday, February 3. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 10-3. Tempe 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Yuma (Yuma, AZ)
The Dons now sport a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yuma for a non-league test on Monday, February 3. Coronado will clash with a Criminals team coming off a 2-2 non-league Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Criminals record now stands at 4-11.
