Negreet Indians (Negreet, LA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pitkin Tigers (Pitkin, LA), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Negreet improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Saline (Saline, LA) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Monday, January 10. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 5-9.

The Tigers (14-12) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 0-10 record.
