The Portola Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Hug Hawks to 40 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loyalton for a non-league contest on Friday, January 7.

The Hawks (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines come into the 3A North - West contest with a 5-7 record.
