New Hampshire High School Basketball - Kennett can't hold off Merrimack
January 3, 2022: Merrimack, NH 03054 The Merrimack Tomahawks basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Kennett Eagles to 46 in the Tomahawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Tomahawks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windham for a Division I contest on Tuesday, January 4. Merrimack will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 55-52 league win over Dover (Dover, NH). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-2.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH). The Bears come into the Division II contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Coe-Brown Academy was nudged by Kennett (Conway, NH), 60-23, in a league contest.
