Wisconsin High School Basketball - Stratford crushes Assumption
January 3, 2023: Stratford, WI 54484 Stratford Tigers (Stratford, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Assumption Royals (Wisconsin Rapids, WI), 81-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Stratford upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Abbotsford (Abbotsford, WI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Abbotsford lost 73-57 in their recent league bout against Athens (Athens, WI)
Next up, the Royals play the Rib Lake Redmen (Rib Lake, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Assumption will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Redmen go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 55-50 non-league loss to Pittsville (Pittsville, WI).
