Virginia High School Basketball - Cristo Rey ripped by Benedictine
January 3, 2023: Richmond, VA 23238 The Benedictine Cadets basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Cristo Rey Royals to 44 in the Cadets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cadets now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Christopher's for a VISAA Division I contest on Friday, January 6.
The Royals (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Church Hill Academy (Richmond, VA). The Phantoms enter the VISAA Division IV contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Church Hill Academy was routed by Banner Christian (Chesterfield, VA), 70-63, in a league contest.
