New York High School Basketball - Westhill tops Bishop Grimes
January 3, 2023: Syracuse, NY 13219 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Westhill Warriors (Syracuse, NY) and the visiting Bishop Grimes Cobras (East Syracuse, NY), saw Westhill's basketball squad knock off Bishop Grimes by a tally of 78-65.
With the victory, Westhill improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Warriors host Chittenango (Chittenango, NY) to play the Bears in a Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty American challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Chittenango won 84-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Schalmont (Schenectady, NY)
Next up, the Cobras play the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights (Syracuse, NY) in a Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty Central challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Bishop Grimes will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Gaelic Knights come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 69-53 non-league win over Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY).
