Ohio High School Basketball - Bloom-Carroll can't hold off Bishop Watterson
January 3, 2023: Carroll, OH 43112 The Bishop Watterson Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs to 42 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Ready for a Central Catholic contest on Friday, January 6. Bishop Watterson will battle a Silver Knights team coming off a 57-35 non-league win over Bexley (Columbus, OH). The Silver Knights record now stands at 9-0.
The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH). The Falcons come into the Mid-State - Buckeye contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Fairfield Union edged Alexander (Albany, OH), 64-40, in a non-league contest.
