The Breese Central Cougars basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Centralia Orphans to 32 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Alton-Wood River for a Cahokia - Mississippi contest on Friday, January 6. Breese Central will battle a Oilers team coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, IL). The Oilers record now stands at 7-11.
