Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Tolman Tigers (Pawtucket, RI), 67-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chariho upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host Coventry (Coventry, RI) to play the Oakers in a Division 2 bout on Thursday, January 5. The Oakers come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Coventry lost 75-44 in their recent league bout against South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI)

Next up, the Tigers play the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Thursday, January 5. Tolman will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 48-37 league loss to Shea (Pawtucket, RI).
