With the victory, Van Wert improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH) to confront the Redskins in a Western Buckeye challenge on Friday, January 6. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Wapakoneta lost 47-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Marion Local (Maria Stein, OH)
