Michigan High School Basketball - Greenville can't hold off Comstock Park
January 3, 2023: Comstock Park, MI 49321 The Comstock Park Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Greenville Yellow Jackets to 41 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Godwin Heights for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Friday, January 6. Comstock Park will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 76-56 non-league loss to Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-1.
The Yellow Jackets (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, East Grand Rapids was nudged by Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI), 65-49, in a non-league contest.
