Michigan High School Basketball - Covenant Christian can't hold off Holland Christian
January 3, 2023: Holland, MI 49423 The Covenant Christian Chargers basketball team (Grand Rapids, MI), was nudged 57-52 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Holland Christian Maroons (Holland, MI)
The Maroons now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fruitport for a Ottawa-Kent - Blue battle on Friday, January 6. Holland Christian will battle a Trojans team coming off a 56-38 non-league win over Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.
The Chargers (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Western Michigan Christian (Muskegon, MI). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record.
