The Pelican Rapids Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host East Grand Forks Green Wave to 59 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perham for a AA Section 8 contest on Friday, January 6. Pelican Rapids will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 68-51 non-league win over Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-0.

The Green Wave (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fertile-Beltrami (Fertile, MN). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record.
