Iowa High School Basketball - East Marshall nips West Marshall
January 3, 2023: Le Grand, IA 50142 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) and the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA), saw East Marshall's basketball squad hold off West Marshall by a count of 63-59.
With the victory, East Marshall upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA) to play the Rebels in a North Iowa Cedar - West challenge on Friday, January 6. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Gladbrook-Reinbeck won 71-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Hudson (Hudson, IA)
Next up, the Trojans play the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. West Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
