January 3, 2023: Freehold, NJ 07728 The Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ), 61-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Colts go into the Shore A - North test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Christian Brothers Academy thwarted Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ), 66-39, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Matawan Regional for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Howell will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 80-73 league win over Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 3-4.
