Michigan High School Basketball - Meridian overwhelmed by Freeland
January 3, 2023: Sanford, MI 48657 The Freeland Falcons basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Meridian Mustangs to 22 in the Falcons non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garber for a Tri-Valley - East contest on Friday, January 6. Freeland will battle a Dukes team coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Central (Bay City, MI). The Dukes record now stands at 3-2.
The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Hornets come into the Jack Pine contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Harrison was routed by Shepherd (Shepherd, MI), 58-23, in a league contest.
