Illinois High School Basketball - Johnston City tops Galatia
January 3, 2023: Galatia, IL 62935 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Johnston City Indians (Johnston City, IL) and the host Galatia Bearcats (Galatia, IL), saw Johnston City's basketball squad knock off Galatia by a count of 78-63.
With the victory, Johnston City upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Century (Ullin, IL) to play the Centurions in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Centurions come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.
Next up, the Bearcats play the Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Galatia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
