The Valley View Blazers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Harrisburg Hornets to 27 in the Blazers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Blazers now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Batesville for a 5A East contest on Friday, January 6. Valley View will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 52-45 non-league loss to Greenbrier (Greenbrier, AR). The Pioneers record now stands at 4-12.

The Hornets (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Pirates come into the 3A Region 3 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Gosnell triumphed over Rivercrest (Wilson, AR), 76-72, in a non-league contest.
