Connecticut High School Basketball - Wolcott knocked off by Holy Cross
January 3, 2023: Wolcott, CT 06716 The Holy Cross Crusaders basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Wolcott Eagles to 54 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ansonia for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Ansonia was outscored by Naugatuck (Naugatuck, CT), 50-39, in a non-league contest.
