New York High School Basketball - Immaculate Heart Central tops La Fargeville
January 3, 2023: Watertown, NY 13601 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Immaculate Heart Central Cavaliers (Watertown, NY) and the visiting La Fargeville Knights (La Fargeville, NY), saw Immaculate Heart Central's basketball squad knock off La Fargeville by a tally of 53-42.
With the victory, Immaculate Heart Central improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to South Lewis (Turin, NY) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. South Lewis lost 50-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY)
Next up, the Knights play the Sandy Creek Comets (Sandy Creek, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier C challenge, on Thursday, January 5. La Fargeville will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 49-47 non-league win over Belleville Henderson Central (Belleville, NY).
