January 3, 2023: Kutztown, PA 19530 The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Kutztown Cougars to 44 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saucon Valley for a Colonial - East contest on Thursday, January 5. Northwestern Lehigh will battle a Panthers team coming off a 47-29 non-league loss to Quakertown (Quakertown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-1.
The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Oley Valley (Oley, PA). The Lynx come into the Berks County 4 contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Oley Valley prevailed over Fleetwood (Fleetwood, PA), 60-59, in a league contest.
