Minnesota High School Basketball - Littlefork-Big Falls can't hold off Kelliher/Northome
January 3, 2023: Northome, MN 56650 The Kelliher/Northome Mustangs basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings to 55 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cass Lake-Bena for a A Section 8 contest on Thursday, January 5. Kelliher/Northome will battle a Panthers team coming off a 67-64 non-league win over Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 7-0.
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Greenway (Coleraine, MN). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Greenway was nudged by Bigfork (Bigfork, MN), 56-28, in a non-league contest.
