January 3, 2023: York, PA 17404 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West York Area Bulldogs (York, PA) and the visiting Littlestown Thunderbolts (Littlestown, PA), saw West York Area's basketball squad hold off Littlestown by a tally of 51-49.
With the victory, West York Area improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Eastern York (Wrightsville, PA) to play the Golden Knights in a York-Adams 2 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Golden Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Eastern York won 69-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Conestoga Valley (Lancaster, PA)
Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Bermudian Springs Eagles (York Springs, PA) in a York-Adams 4 challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Littlestown will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 47-41 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, PA).
