Louisiana High School Basketball - Loranger overwhelms Springfield
January 3, 2023: Loranger, LA 70446 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA) and the visiting Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), saw Loranger's basketball squad wallop Springfield by a tally of 59-20.
With the victory, Loranger improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Broadmoor lost 53-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 59-29 non-league win over Houma Christian (Houma, LA).
