Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots (Johns Creek, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marist War Eagles (Atlanta, GA), 71-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Pisgah Christian upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Patriots host Paideia (Atlanta, GA) to play the Pythons in a A D1 Region 6B bout on Friday, January 6. The Pythons go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Paideia lost 75-51 in their recent non-league bout against Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)

Next up, the War Eagles play the Dunwoody Wildcats (Dunwoody, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout, on Friday, January 6. Marist will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 59-44 non-league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA).
