Kansas High School Basketball - Rawlins County thwarts Northern Valley

The Rawlins County Buffaloes (Atwood, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS), 68-50 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Buffaloes (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Wallace County (Sharon Springs, KS). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Wallace County notched a victory over Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS), 70-32, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Greeley County for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Northern Valley will encounter a Jackrabbits squad coming off a 87-24 non-league win over Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 6-0.
