January 3, 2023: Urbana, OH 43078 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) and the visiting Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH), saw Urbana's basketball squad overcome Shawnee by a tally of 62-49.
With the victory, Urbana improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Hillclimbers travel to Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH) to confront the Lakers in a Central Buckeye - Mad River challenge on Friday, January 6. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Indian Lake lost 45-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH)
Next up, the Braves confront the London Red Raiders (London, OH) in a Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail challenge, on Friday, January 6. Shawnee will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to Whitehall-Yearling (Whitehall, OH).
