Maryland High School Basketball - Tuscarora tops South Carroll
January 3, 2023: Frederick, MD 21703 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Tuscarora Titans (Frederick, MD) and the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), saw Tuscarora's basketball squad knock off South Carroll by a tally of 75-64.
With the victory, Tuscarora improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Heritage (Leesburg, VA) to play the Pride in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 6. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Heritage lost 59-37 in their recent league challenge against Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD) in a Carroll County challenge, on Friday, January 6. South Carroll will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 53-36 league loss to Liberty (Sykesville, MD).
