January 3, 2023: Washington Courthouse, OH 43160 The St. Charles Cardinals (Columbus, OH) basketball felled the host Washington Blue Lions (Washington Courthouse, OH), 47-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (4-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH). The Stallions go into the Central Catholic test with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, St. Francis DeSales topped Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH), 49-45, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Blue Lions clash with the Chillicothe Cavaliers (Chillicothe, OH) in a Frontier bout, on Friday, January 6. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 68-16 non-league loss to Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH).
